PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes certain information that Stowed DMP, LLC doing business as “Stowed” (also identified herein as “Stowed,” the “Company,” “we” or “us”) collects through the Company’s website at www.stowedhome.com (the “Stowed Site”) and how we use that information. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies solely to our online information-gathering and dissemination practices in connection with the Stowed Site and does not apply to any of our practices conducted offline.

By using the Stowed Site, you agree to the collection and use of information by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Stowed Site. The data collected on the Stowed Site belongs exclusively to us, and the Company is solely responsible for creating and maintaining this policy.

The Company reserves the right to revise this Privacy Policy at any time. We will notify you of any material changes to this Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and by changing the “Effective Date” at the end of the Privacy Policy. What identifying information do we collect? 

The Company collects personally identifiable information that you provide to us, knowingly, through any the Stowed Site. “Personally identifiable information” or  “Personal Data” refers to information that directly identifies you, such as your name, e-mail address, postal address, company name, title, department, and telephone number. The Company collects personally identifiable information only when knowingly provided by you while ordering or on online forms or registration forms. For example, you may voluntarily supply us your Personal Data when you take an action such requesting information regarding products sold by the Company, or otherwise enter your Personal Data on any online form hosted on a Stowed Site.

Also, the Company may collect certain non-personally identifiable information when you visit a the Stowed Site. “Non-personally identifiable information” refers to information that does not identify you but which can be used to track certain Internet conduct. For instance, your computer’s IP address, your web browser’s identity, the date and time you accessed the website, the page or pages you visited and images you accessed, the website you arrived to the Stowed Site from and the website that you depart to as well as the IP address of the computer being used to access the Stowed Site, may be all collected without any action on your part.

When a user performs a search within the Stowed Site, The Marias may record information identifying the user or linking the user to the search performed. The Company may also record limited information associated with search requests made by a user and use that information to, among other things, solve technical problems with the Stowed Site and to calculate overall usage statistics.

What do we do with the identifying information we collect? 

The Company uses your personally identifiable information and non-personally identifiable information in the following ways:

Non-personally identifiable information. The Company may use your non-personally identifiable information for any legal purpose. Generally, we track non-personally identifiable information for internal purposes and to help us interact with visitors to the Stowed Site. While we do not generally do so, we may correlate non-personally identifiable information to particular individuals to investigate possible illegal conduct or violations of the Terms of Use governing your use of the Stowed Site, to comply with legal process (e.g. subpoenas), and to assist law enforcement agencies, or as otherwise required by law.

Do we share the information we collect with third parties? 

The Company may share with third parties your personally identifiable information and non-personally identifiable information for any legal purpose. For example, we may share your information with third parties that assist us in providing our services or products or otherwise responding to your requests or orders. Further, we may share information with third parties for market and industry research purposes, for advertising and marketing purposes, and potentially other reasons. If you prefer, by contacting us at the mailing address listed below, you can choose that your personally identifiable information not be shared with third parties for reasons other than assisting us in providing our services or otherwise responding to your information requests.

Without limiting the foregoing, the Company may transfer any information in its databases, including but not limited to personally identifiable information, to a third party as part of a transfer of business assets. Also, the Company may release personally identifiable information and non-personally identifiable information in order to comply with requests from law enforcement and government agencies, to enforce the Terms of Use and other agreements, and to protect clients and others. We will do so when we believe in good faith that disclosing this information is otherwise necessary or advisable, including, for instance, to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interfering with the rights or property of the Company, another user or anyone else that could be harmed by such activities.

Do we use cookies? 

Yes, we may use cookies. Non-personally identifiable information is collected through a variety of passive methods, including the use of cookies. Cookies are pieces of information generated by web servers and stored in your computer for future access. We use them to study visitors’ use of the Stowed Site and to improve your navigation of it. Many consider the use of cookies to be an industry standard. You can alter the configuration of your browser to refuse to accept cookies, but if you do so, it is possible that some areas of website that use cookies will not function properly when you view them.

What about Third Party Links? 

Although the Stowed Site provide links to third-party website, they are not covered by this Privacy Policy. The Company assumes no responsibility for the privacy or security of information you provide to any third party through linked website or any other means. We urge you to review the privacy policy of any website that you visit.

Security 

While the Company strives to protect your personally-identifiable information and user privacy, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose online and you do so at your own risk. This Privacy Policy does not extend to anything that is inherent in the operation of the Internet, and therefore beyond the Company’s control, and is not to be applied in any manner contrary to applicable law or governmental regulation. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect information collected through the Stowed Site, the Company cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from the Stowed Site, and you do so at your own risk.

Children 

The Stowed Site are not intended for children under the age of 13, and the Company is does not intentionally collect personally-identifiable information from children under 13. If you have reason to believe that we have collected personally-identifiable information from someone under 13 years of age, please let us know.

Choice 

You will have the opportunity to opt-out of receiving unsolicited e-mail communications from us when we first collect your personally-identifiable information through the Stowed Site. Additionally, by contacting us at info@stowedhome.com, you can opt-out of receiving unsolicited communications.

Access or Change Your Personal Data 

By contacting us at admin@stowedhome.com below, you can access, correct, amend, or delete the personally-identifiable information that you have provided through the Stowed Site. If you wish to review the personally-identifiable information we have on file about you, please send a written request to Stowed, and we will give you payment instructions which is $15 (handling fee).

To honor a request to access, correct, amend or delete personally-identifiable information, you will need to supply information sufficient for us to identify unsolicited communications, if any, you have received from us.
